The BISE Bahawalpur gazette has a practical advantage that students rarely hear about: because this board has the smallest student count among all nine Punjab boards — 110,437 students in 2025 — its gazette file is the smallest and fastest to download.
While BISE Lahore’s gazette runs to 100+ megabytes and BISE Gujranwala’s to 80-120 MB, the BISE Bahawalpur gazette is typically 20 to 35 MB. For students in Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalnagar where mobile data is the primary connectivity option, this means the gazette is downloadable even on 3G without frustrating timeouts.
The gazette contains the complete result of all 110,000+ students from three districts — Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, and Rahim Yar Khan — with roll numbers, names, total marks, grades, and pass/fail status.
It will be available on 2 September 2026 from approximately 11:30 AM — about 90 minutes after the 10:00 AM result announcement.

Why the SMS Method and Gazette Work Together in This Board
Most Punjab board guides treat SMS and gazette as separate alternatives. For BISE Bahawalpur students — especially those in rural areas — they work best together.
Use SMS first (800298) to get your result immediately on result day. Then download the gazette for your official record, name verification, and future documentation purposes.
Rural students in Cholistan-adjacent areas of Bahawalpur district, tehsils of Rahim Yar Khan like Sadiqabad, Khanpur, Liaqatpur, and remote areas of Bahawalnagar — for all of these students, SMS + gazette is the realistic two-step process, not website checking.
Download Guide
Step 1 — From 11:30 AM on 2 September BISE Bahawalpur’s gazette uploads faster than larger boards — by 11:30 AM it is typically available. You do not need to wait until 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM like with Lahore or Gujranwala.
Step 2 — Open bisebwp.edu.pk Go directly to the official site. Look for “Gazette 2026” or “9th Class Result Gazette” on the homepage or under Results.
Step 3 — Download — even mobile data works At 20 to 35 MB, this file downloads in under a minute on a decent 4G connection and 2 to 3 minutes on 3G. No need for Wi-Fi unless your signal is very weak.
Step 4 — Open and search Open PDF → Ctrl+F (PC) or Find in Page (mobile browser) → Type your exact registered name.
Step 5 — Confirm your entry Match school name in same row. Rahim Yar Khan students should also check district column since RYK has the most students in this board.

Common Problems — Solved
“Gazette not live at 11:30 AM” Try at 12:00 PM. Upload time varies by year. If nothing at 12:00 PM, try 12:30 PM.
“My name is not found” Try full registered name first. Then try just your last two names. If your name includes a prefix like “Ch.”, “Rana”, or “Malik” — try with and without it. Your name on the gazette matches exactly what was written on your admission form.
“I am from a remote tehsil and cannot access the internet at all” You do not need the gazette if you have a phone with any signal. Send your roll number to 800298 and get your full result by SMS. The gazette is for name-search only — if you have your roll number and SMS works, you have your result.
“My result shows wrong total marks” Note your roll number from the gazette. Contact BISE Bahawalpur board office in Bahawalpur city for a marks verification request. Bring your original admit card and registration documents.
“I am a private candidate and cannot find my name” Private candidates are listed in the gazette. Remember that private candidate pass rate in 2025 was 30.14% — if your result is not found or shows fail, this is unfortunately common for private candidates in this board. The supplementary exam path applies equally to private candidates.
