For Kohistan and Torghar Students
These two districts deserve a specific mention in the gazette section.
Kohistan is geographically one of Pakistan’s most remote districts — the Karakoram Highway runs through it, but mobile data and internet access remain unreliable in many tehsils. Torghar, created in 2011, has even more limited connectivity.
For students in these districts:
First — use SMS. Send BISEATD [roll number] to 9818. Any mobile signal, even 2G, delivers the result by SMS.
Second — download the gazette when you reach a stable connection. Even if that is the next day or two days later, the gazette remains available on biseatd.edu.pk after result day. It does not disappear on result day evening.
Third — your school has your result too. Board results are sent to affiliated schools. Your school principal has your marks. If internet access is genuinely impossible, your school is a reliable local source.

“Gazette not available 1 hour after result”
Give it 90 minutes. If result was at 2:00 PM, try from 3:30 PM.
“My name is not found”
Try name variations — full registered name first, then two-word search. Kohistan and Torghar names sometimes have unique transliterations from Pashto/Shina that differ between forms and files.
“PDF too large for my phone”
Use Chrome browser’s built-in PDF viewer. Avoid third-party PDF apps for large files. At 40–70 MB, most modern phones handle it fine in Chrome.
